I agree.....they crush them in the creative department...I also only pic up a small bit on the comparison. Never understood how people said they were exact clones of Mast.

:) love Primus... Primus sucks!

i always wondered why he used to use PRS guitars in the first place? They've always seemed out of place to me. Now he's doing it right :) because USA Deluxes are awesome

May have already been posted but on here is a walkthrough of Mogwai's current pedalboards. Some nice stuff on there but John Cummings' commentary doesn't give much away - "Wee tuner, wee EQ, wee tremolo, few distortions..."

They're both clearly indebted to bands like the Allmans and other Southern bands as far as guitar parts are concerned.

And Mastodon fucking rule, newest record ignored.

from this vid he's now got a devi neverdrive and shoegaze and an algal bloom!
along with what looks like a boss ps-2,boss equalizer,Rat and a few others.

I wonder what he's getting his reverb from :idk: since I don't see the holy grail
on there.

Sounds great! :joy:

More like two newest records ignored.

Whereas Baroness went from pretty rad, to super fucking rad. Also, recorded the Blue record with John Congleton.
