I just went and put one on the breadboard, and it seems to work fine based on this schematic...
...although the pnp transistor will do nothing if the base isn't connected. The difference between it being there and not is slim. With it, the OK seems a little fuller and has slightly more sustain. Also, it's extremely gated on one end of the input knob sweep. I had to use bc184's though, which are slightly lower gain than the mpsa18. Sounds good to my ears.

How has no one (especially the bassists) mentioned the Cherry Pop? Adding a tone control to the SM really adds to the range of available toanz, and helps keeps those precious lows!

Wait till you feel the the power of bass with a new improved VFM. You will feel it in your butt.

I am excited about the current line up.
In the future, though, I'd really like to acquire Hounds Tooth, Year of the Rat, Zero Good.
Sadly I missed the Test Pattern 3, Silver Rose and the Little Shit.
I had been saving for when Devi was going take custom orders again. While I'm happy with what I have, there's a dream I'm chasing. A Pedal dream.
Until then, I'll probably just purchase whatever modulation pedal ends up in front of me. Really need to lay off the fuzz habit.

VFM, SM, OK, TP/AE, US, 33/Soda Might, Shoe Gazer, Rocket, ...perhaps the
Destructo Noctavia, it's pretty special. Not too enthusiastic about the Silver Rose myself BUT I've got the impression it sells.

The most obvious omission that I would be directly interested in is the Spectacular Aenima. I freaking loved that pedal.
This.

I love mine to death, it just takes guts to stomp on it, it's MAD loud and overkill. Just the way I like it.
And perhaps White Spider with AE/TP? That would be pretty rad.
Though I already have mine, I hope the Manglers and TBD too are kept in production. Just as Spectaculars perhaps. They are - to me - what originally sparked my interest in DE circuits when looking for crazy noisy pedals, and I believe there should be customers for them too though the price range probably seems a bit high for some who'd just like a bit madness in their pedalboard. But neither Dwarfcraft nor Devi ever was for the faint of heart. It takes commitment to the noise to play these, and they do it really well.
Mmmm. It could be a neat idea to build some circuits occasionally, perhaps in limited runs. "This months special is the Spectacular Destructo Noctavia - get Yours now, a limited stock from Your old pal Aen."

HEY AEN, I wanna make a request.
A Hyperion/Ruiner dual pedal with separate switches for using one or the other or both at once.
Just throwing that out there, glad y'all are making the devi name cool again.

Which is DB > 33 > DB as singles in series. I'm sure others remember better - but aren't the 33 and DB circuits close enough to toggle? Having those three with 3-way (on/off/flip) on each would be ridiculous! It's pretty close to my Stanimal modded Hyp, but just a little moar!

I just looked up the schematics and the only differences between them are the DB has a cap to ground instead of the second tranny on the 33. You could easily do that with a flipswitch.

I've always wanted a Hyperion/90 double pedal voiced for bass....any chance that could be a thing....you could call it "the 90's Hype"

I beefed up the Hyperion for standard production. .2 caps throughout make a pretty big difference.
I haven't really looked at the 90 very much, but it would need some serious modification to be worth anything on a bass. Unless you are going for that "un-bass" guitar sound....
I did make a little DB>33 "hyperion deluxe" dual pedal for fun though
Oh, and this little buddy is working nicely.
And an Electric Brown/LP combo, the Brown LP!
