MAN!!!! It's like watching a rerun.

Hahaha. But man....I'm pretty ignorant when it comes to various brands of basses. I've owned two Ibanez...and this Status. Same way with amps. I've tried out more amps, though....but I would still consider me one of the least experienced on here with different brands.

I am pretty much thinking I can't lose if I get it. $170 for a 5 string bass, Squiers range from good for the price all the way up to pretty good, supposedly these are among the pretty good ones. Plus a gig bag. I'll probably say yes.

The current Squiers are a DAMN sight better than all of the current MIM and some of the MIA Fenders, relatively speaking. I'm debating a P-bass as we speak.

Yeah, that is what i hear. Also, I think this 5er has a bit wider string spacing than usual Jazz 5ers and that is fine with me. I don't mind a larger neck at all. I got ahold of the guy and told him to run it, so it is on him to go for it or back out. I doubt he is going to back out though, he sent me more pictures of it this morning.

I guess I am going to put my BC Rich NJ series MockingBird w/double p Pups up soon. It has a hardcase and all of that. Hit me up if you want pics, I'll give an ILFer a deal on it. TB must PAY though.

The guy is shipping late tomorrow or early Sat. So sometime next week. I am kind of stoked. I just need to make sure I don't modification crazy, but I probably will, who cares, it is a Squier. I already want to cut down a regular Jazz pickgaurd for mine.

yahpers. the set thing shows up for me. all scroll bar deliciousness at the bottom. that's some damn cool shtuff homie. the first one DOES remind me of the movie PI. the second one makes me think of Claypool staring in awe at the heroin needle jammed into his arm that just delivered a truly epic dose, mumbling, "why fishies..... why you do this to me..... i loved you fishiessssssssss........".

woof. have the week off, gonna finally clean up the area behind my tv (there's like 4 years of component switching cable leftovers, i only need like 5 cables now) and wiring up my board. got that little patchbay from Vlad, waiting on the Slightly Bigger Neat Twist Looper from Dannnn The Mannnnn and figured out which cables i flubbed up when i built 'em. ESCITE.

I think the "zingers" that go before it are the worst. Spicy nuts. I mean. C'mon. Flock of Seagulls? I'll take TWSS, anyday.

Man...Do I go to the Cannibal Corpse show tonight? I am tired. I have to work tomorrow. I just finished my semester today though. I have friends (ex DeathMetal band mates) from out of town going. WTF DO I DO?
