I am so anxious about revising, that it's preventing me from actually revising.
This, of course, is making me more anxious about revising.
I could cry, actually cry, about how poor I am at revision. All my coursework modules and assignments come back with consistently high marks, but they’re always worth so little, and I always get such mediocre grades when sitting exams compared to what I should be capable of achieving.
If I’m the only one of my friends without a 2:1, I will actually throw myself out of a window. I will have wasted like 7 years of my life, wasted relationships, wasted friendships and wasted thousands of pounds if I don’t get a worthwhile degree.

Plus I've been playing a lot more guitar lately, my guitar rig/home bass practice rig is almost complete. Still need some type of muff, and to start/finish making the bottom cab a ported 1x15. Cheap Stratche copy tuned to C with .11s, for extra noodley strings.

Crappy cell phone pic of my band VEGAs backline at our last show...

That enough to please you people?
Dude good to see you here!

I know where you're at. Breathe in, breathe out, and go play your guitfiddle for a while.

Doom room Guru's, I request your opinion...I have a chance to pickup one of these:
http://www.macdaddymusicstore.com/servl ... W7rHaJON8EFor $75, that said it still has everything stock...think it would be kosher running this with my 8ohm 1200w Randall with the Meat Hammer? I know it probably is...but I might try and use it for a gig this weekend so I want to be damn sure...

Lurve me some Cough. They're such chill dudes. Spending 4 years in Richmond had it's perks as AA said Parker is a great friend of mine. He was actually supposed to be in my wedding two weeks ago but had to go on the tour! Oh well. Glad you got to chill with them and see them. Seems like this tour is going A LOT better than the last one, which is awesome

For $75 its worth picking up regardless but a few things should be noted.
1) it's underpowered for the head. your cab should always be able to handle more watts then the max output of the head your using. The Meat Hammer is 300watts right?
2) When pairing speaker cabs they should be of near wattage as well. with a 240w cab and a 1200w cab the 240w will be perceived as louder, sooner. I'm running a 260w 4x12 and 1000w 2x15 with my peavey and sometimes the 2x15 seems very quiet in comparison to the 4x12, yet the 390w 6x12 and 300w 3x15 in my big rig seem much much closer in volume to each other. But if you go down this rabbit hole theres alot more science to get into such as sensitivity and what not.

your rig wattage will only be 480W as well since equal power is distributed to both cabs

Yeah i'll definitely load in some better speakers in the near future.
I was figuring...and my math could be wrong...but running the dual cabs on the 300w head wouldn't each only be getting a total of 150? So in theory since the wattage is spread over 8 speakers wouldn't this be fine?

yea each speaker only gets 300/8 W. Of course speaker sensitivity and wattage will affect the effective loudness.

Awesome.
FInally I'll be able to X pattern those DP12a's to bring the overrall wattage in the Randall down just a tad.
