Let me rephrase.

SG w/ P-90s = Batwing (first time I've heard it called that)
SG w/ Humbukers = Half Guard

IMO at least.

That said still rocking and loving this setup.

I love my Bass MuRF,...I may not use it all the time (a lot of "No Animation" just LFO get's used [which is filter bank B Animation #1] not to mention a nice little Overdrive),...but nothing sounds like it.

If you are Midi Savvy,...the Midi MuRF seems like it would be really cool.

That said I do wish at the price the Moog charges for their MoogerFoogers they'd have a quieter bypass.

Yeah, that's my house. I live in a kind of ugly little city, but because of that I was able to get a pretty nice crib for the money.
That room SOUNDS awesome, too. Story-and-a-half with a loft as a natural bass trap.
If I didn't shake all of wifey's shit off the shelves when I rock in there, I'd probably do it all the time. :!!!:

Gibson P-94

Image

There is another aftermarket PUP Mfg makes a similar hot output single coil PUP in a humbucker shape as well (I wanna say Seymour Duncan but I cannot find on their site).

I really want a set of the P-94s though. There is a Squier Jagmaster that keeps popping up on CL for like $125 and If it's still there on Friday,...I might pick her up and through some of these P-94s on it. I also want to get a Maple FB neck with the Tele shaped Headstock and throw that on there as well.

Duncan makes Phat Cat P-90s, I have a set in my ES-333.
I also think GFS makes some, and on the other end of the budget scale, Lollar makes some as well.

Hmmm.... Gibson p94 you say... they probably cost 200$ only because they're Gibsons.. if you have seen my guitar before, you probably know that I don't give a shit about that stupid piece of semi hollow crap. Hell, I even cut out a piece if of the body because I needed something to lay under my desk... so that was more of a joke than a serious contribution.
But if I ever get a new guitar (maybe next year when I have my dream cymbals together) i'll check them out, thanks

Those Creepy Fingers seem to be reproducing on your board!

Shit looks great, as always. I'm with you on the full size SG guard. :thumb:

the dumb part is that there's no more room on my board, I have CF pedals that already won't fit, and I still want to buy more. It's TERRIBLE. and great.

V4 is going nowhere. Ha, they're out there for not too much cake, my dude. I got this from GC online for maybe $600 shipped? It has required zero work so far, too.

I would like to try CF PinkElephant and Harakiri... have you tried them?

nope...I want those and the Sugarboost as well!

I told a buddy I'd loan him a fuzz pedal - think I'm going to send him my Wattson Classic fuzz so I can justify the Harakiri!
