You could get cheaper cables no doubt, that will work but on a custom build they will be nice. Those are personal ones tho for my own full stack

Ohhhhhhhh okay, I thought they might have been the test units for Brett's build, like the MM power cable was for mine. Where'd you get them from?

amazon. http://www.amazon.com/Monster-Studio-10 ... aker+Cable

Not many left at that price and thus why it might be a 1 time buy thing

Says 1 left through amazon, but there's like three other suppliers with the same price that have them in stock. Probably a closeout pricing or something. I personally stopped using monster cable after I found out about them oversizing the ends, not believing it, and then actually having it happen to one of my guitars and having to replace the output jack.

I have had good luck with my 1 monster speaker cable, i have had it for atleast 6 years with no failure. So i probably will stick with them for speaker cable but yet to use say their instrument cable

I'm gonna be the roadie for the Druden tour at the end of the month/beginning of next month. Not gonna be at the Washington shows, though.
Super excited about it. Are any of y'all gonna be out for any of those shows?

I'll be out at the Mountain show for sure, possibly the Santa Barbara one too.

What do you play in Indian? I may have met you when you guys played SLO last year...my GF and I bought you and HOF the bottle of Jager at SLO Brew.

Well, you didn't pass it off to me. I'm the guitarist that only sang a little. I think I had a beard at the time but I can't remember.
I remember that bottle of Jager and the aftermath very well. You turned our bassist and Pike into monsters.
Stoked to go back to SLO. You guys have great record stores there. I grew up in the San Joaquin Valley and we used to head over there all the time.

I use these guys too. Ridiculous, and probably overkill, but it's what I do.

Ah ok, yeah I spoke with your guys' bassist a bit after the show...You should definitely check out Boo Boo's(for metal, actually just came up on the magenta-ish Relapse print of Guiltless there) and Cheap Thrills for older gems.

man...we felt so bad about that since it was right after that tour Pike went to rehab...would have passed it off, but he grabbed it and went to town...we were talking to him outside before, he was a bit unsettled and really wanted a bottle of Jager...

Funny how all this shit connects...the guit/vocalist from the band that opened for you guys in SLO's new band is opening for Druden.

sounds cool man. But yeah the reduction in gear...and volume will be a hard one to get use to. You get use to it, and the best part is when you do get the chance to turn it up then it becomes a real treat!

on the next pedal thing...so its not modulation...but i think i'm going with the Vibe pedal. But fuck there are some expensive pedals out there! So far though the Mojo Vibe sounds good and its got a Chorus and Vibrato options which is cool. Thanks for the recommendations.

finally...i got another YOB album...Unreal Never Lived...thats 2 for 2 so far, its not a new thing to anyone else on here, but YOB is revelation for me.

I love Boo Boo's although I didn't make it that time. I spent a lot of money in the country vinyl section at Cheap Thrills, though. I hadn't been there in like 12 years. I think last time I went to Boo Boo's was in '97 or so. Really glad to know it's still there.

I wouldn't feel too bad about that Jager. Trust me, that was far from the only issue with booze on that tour. And his rehab didn't happen until last summer.
