What did you think of the Kollaps?
Yeah my iPad ran out of memory and cut off and wouldn't record any more

so I didnt get the chance to give a real impression of what the kollaps sounds like or how it functions. I was having too much fun with that set up to bother grabbing my iPhone to make a longer demo, running the Mantis delay into the fuzz sounded so fuckin brokenly awesome. But yeh, I REALLY like the Kollaps. It's like random textures and how are you goin to deal with them

really fun pedal for sure and it sounds really great stacked with fuzz. I plan on making a longer demo of it.

I think that was my impression of the Kollaps too. It's more of a texture on top of something rather than a traditional rhythmic effect like a tremolo. I felt like it also lets a fuzz come through while giving it a little something extra. Might give it another go down the road. I am glad you are happy with it though.

Yeah i found that when running it with fuzz it's rather subtle for a tremolo and just adds the right amount of texture to make a chord or line more interesting. It sounds more full on its own but still doesn't get into major volume drops/chops except when its going sloooooow and literally cutting off the signal....which can be interesting when you're not expecting it

I don't even know how to begin to describe this but here goes:
This was originally the "Chord Roy" patch on my Supernova. Think of a dream-pop synthy chord that rolls in. Real nice sound I love the patch. I ended up using the Warp function on the DD-6 while going back and forth with the time knob to make that weird ticking noise at the beginning. I was running the Ct5 as well but it wasn't making any noise until I engaged the PS-2 pedal (I don't know). Apparently the Echo Modulator can just do loops without going into insane oscillation, so I ended up tweaking the sound a ton between the knobs on that and the Kompakt Kassette. So much cool shit. So happy.

Instant, trashy fun... With the delay controls maxxxed, you get a "sort of slapback echo plus a bad approximation of a spring reverb" sound that is surf-y and garage-y and awful... Crank the input and you can get a decent overdrive-y boost, too...
I wanna see if there are any mods to increase the delay time or the repeats... I also feel like this guy would crush in a feedback looper...

Like my
pedalboards, yes. Mostly vintage, knobby boxes ramshackle cobbled together with bush-fixes and some added 21st century flavor
My GF wanted to try droning (ftw)...Here's her reasoning:
Volca Keys: "I don't want to play guitar. Give me the baby synth."
RM-1N: "Looks a little dirty, but I like the green light"
CT5: "Is this the all-over-the-place one? I like that one."
Vessel's End: "Hmmmm...where is the pretty one?"
Digital Water/BitQuest/RRR/RV-3: "Give me ones that don't make that loud popping sound when you turn them on. I hate that sound."
LSD: "The light sensitive one. HIHI!"
Keeper.

Super fun combo. Blowing dirt into the warped vinyl sounds awesome.

That is the weirdest looking Pigdog enclosure ever! Makes it look like some sort of shitty mass produced pedal from China. Which is in a way awesome given the quality of the Pigdog stuff.

Totally agree! It is made out of steel and is so very heavy. Feels solid as hell. But not exactly a looker.

Sweet blocky Jazzy there, finboy.
That looks (and probably sounds) to be a killer combination there, Syl, I'll have to try that.
Whoops, missed that Pigdog/Warped Vinyl combo. That looks sweet too.

My setup last night. Don't have pics, but I also only used my sonic titan clone & el capistan. It was great. Nice, simple, and heavy

. I'm trying to learn how to minimize the pedals and focus more on playing.
