Reading the Merlin Codex trilogy... Mixes up Merlin with Jason and Argo for some crazy back in time time traveling stuff... Pretty cool so far, on book two...

bought the 5 book omnibus version of Wool on my Kindle on a lark. it's GOOD. it's like reading the horrors of how it would really be if you were in a Vault in the Fallout universe.

 A truly beautiful book. I'm not getting nearly enough time to read recently... Well that's not entirely true, I have free time in which I could be reading but I just never feel like it anymore unless I'm on holiday. :(

The Dragon Tattoo series is so good. Simply yet effective.
& I have One Hundred Years of Solitude in my closet but haven't cracked into it. I might have to do that this week.

i dunnnnnno. i was with you. i LOVE the feel of a book in my hand, i had a huge collection, i have buttloads of graphic novels.... but when i got a Kindle then moved to the Kindle app on my 'pad and fone..... it's just so damn convenient. i still get as engrossed in the word play as i do with a physical book, having a library of the hundreds of books that i love and access to GOOD options when you're traveling in another country and want to read something new...... the ease of reading on my fone if i'm out somewhere and get stuck and bored, then having my device at home sync up to the last read spot so i have an always accessible duplicate of whatever i'm reading.....

and honestly, i read way more than i ever have as an adult since i moved to ebooks. i had that feel too, Fucking Electronics Will Ruin The Purity Of The Written Word...... but seriously, i don't see a downside. piracy could be an issue, but the only things i torrented and didn't pay for were books that i've already bought at LEAST once in hard copy, so fuck paying again for something that cost them nothing but server space to make available.

what'd'ja think? did you end up reading it in Englits or Swissy Mumbles?

i liked the series a lot. i LOVE how you can tell that Larson wants Blombquist to be THE MAN, since it's basically an author avatar, but then realized if he didn't make it more Lisbeth-centered it'd piss off everybody that really loves her character. 'cause she's way more interesting.

i likedededed the Craig movie a lot. thought the og Swedish ones were shit.

Dutch, cause it was a loaner, I prefer to read English.

Agreed, the first half I was mainly waiting for the story to shift back to Lisbeth rather than just reading about different Vangers. Then it picks up, though it could've been more graphic in some places. Good enough that I'll eventually snag the others from someone at some point.
