CNN does what they need to do to grab ratings and headlines. Not sure they are pushing Hilary, as much as she is an interesting story.
Hilary Vs Trump would create a harbaugh bowl of a presidential election.
The only people that would win in that case would be news agencies.
I want to take this election seriously. Can't say I'm fond of this spectacle.
It does make a difference if they keep their promises re: federal income tax levels, & how that money is spent. Matters to me.

Reiterating the Supreme Court thing. I don't want Donald Trump anywhere near those nominations ever.

Bernie is the only one I don't want to watch being fed into a woodchipper in slow motion and I don't want to put hope into him because I am a realist.. [Non christian, calls himself a socialist in a country that has used that as a bad term for over 60 years, old and cranky etc] and I don't like every thing about him... but I don't like everything about anyone... As for dem Dems what I am sick of is people [LIKE HILARY] being cast as a liberal or a left winger when they are not in any way shape or form and are actually if you look at the last century right swinging moderates because the right has become so extremist.
This is the situation worldwide. Contenders and candidates for top jobs that are simply "not awful" as opposed to actually qualified to do the job and do it correctly. In addition to the whole massive step to the right thing. The right just seems to keep on travelling into the outer reaches and pulls the left into the centre.
Over a long enough period of time, this means that what we consider normalcy now will be "extremist" and "fringe thinking" and "progressive though" will be outright seditious.

That's pretty much it. Most people vote with their hearts, not their minds.
Many people (particularly the Republican establishment) severely underestimated how much of the the red state voter base is simply driven by xenophobia. They've allowed it to fester for years by media proxy of talk radio and Fox News, but now that it's turned it's ugly head on them, they are scrambling to find something to regain control over the monster they were exploiting.

I will just quietly reiterate the point that while Bernie might MIGHT accomplish a few basic things that make life for people at the lowest rungs of society slightly more possible (EBT, health care, etc.) - though that is doubtful - or he might bail out the middle class from the nightmare trip it has visited to "almost how poor people live", more likely his potential term would be remembered much as Obama's was. Don't get me wrong, there are things someone like Trump could do that would be terrifying, and even if his proposed anti-Muslim shit never passed, that he was elected would be a fucking black mark.
But all that said, maybe all authority is illegitimate? I don't know. weird world we live in, where autonomy and mutual respect are considered evil, fringe left ideas that will destroy the fabric of society. I am maybe too tired to be weighing in. Too tired of hearing NPR at work, amirite?

Huckabee's just called it quits. I hadn't realized he was still in it to win it.
Also, do you think it's a cop out for the NYT to endorse Kasich?
I mean, honestly, he has no chance of winning the GOP nomination.

Anyone watching Hillary's speech? Bill behind her…man. lol
And there is some dude in the crowd with stickers on his face. Can't tell if he is a little mentally challenged or dropped acid before this.
