It was also pretty weird.. there was a lot of "hot spots" in both knobs where the sound changed drastically, there was even a strange "attack gate" at low settings.
I found it for 75€ and it was worth it every fucking face of our majesty, but for the retail price i don't really know if it's a good deal.
In adition, it takes a lot of experimentation before even knowing what each knob does...

75€ is a damn good price for one of those. What did you flip it for?

i don't really know what flip for means, but if you're wondering how much did i get for it, I sold it for 150... i know it's twice the price, but i had to sell it to pay some debts, and i wasn't going to get rid of it for less

God damn that's a good deal! I've been looking for a deal like that for a while. Did you make good use of the internal trimpots?

Yep. A big muff pi usa (reissue) with some addons:
truebypass, more vintage sound, another tone pot (mid boost, and a bit of texture), the first stage clipping was removed to get a sound more like a colorsound tonebender, kind of a harder sound.Added some gain and transistors were changed. Of course i didn't do this, it was a good friend's work.

In the end, it turned to sound more like a high gain fuzz than like a muff. In it's a fucking tone monster, you can get a lot of sounds from it. From stooges to Kyuss. A really nice work.

Huge crazy fuzz pedal that is a Mega Rangemaster, Fuzz Face on Steroids, pumped up Tone Bender, and Huge Big Muff.
