Yeah I just told Dan W. to etch it to make it look as gross and gnarly as possible and he did an incredible job with it. Then Skully built it. It's a Devi TP into an FY-2 and it is the most versatile dirt box I have. Stuttering and gated, wide open and gnarly, overdrive, just about anything. He did a ton of mods one footswitch turns on photo eye oscillation control, one of the switches turns the FY-2 side into an all out, everything on 10 distortion. The TP side can do overdrive as well as fuzz and each circuit has a starve and blend control. It's inspiring really.
skullservant wrote:Fuck yeah! I was wondering what head you were going to be using with it. So much awesome. Did you get the Mobius all fixed up from Strymon?
Yeah the OR-15 sounds great through it
I haven't gotten it fixed yet. Dan W said he may be able to fix it but is super swamped at the moment. I'm just going to wait a while and see if he would be able to do it later as I don't absolutely need to save presets currently.

I sent duder a picture of the cab in your natural setup and he was stoked to see it in it's natural habitat!

I told him I'll start a thread about it this weekend when I can record some clips but I may even do that today. I seriously think his work is top tier and he was very friendly and easy to work with and he finished it even a little earlier then he said when I placed the order. All for a fair amount cheaper than Emperor quoted me.

Yeah duder is top notch. We've been hanging out a lot recently which is cool because I don't get out much otherwise. Got to see around his shop last weekend which was really, really neat. I also agree that his prices are super fair. He was also working on some new stuff that I saw in the shop that I TOTALLY think he should be doing more of.
Currently working with him in designing a new combo cab for my Valve Junior. Gonna be the same size as the other cab he built me, but it's gonna have as thick of a face as your cab has, rosewood stain with Ampeg grill cloth. Gonna be a 1x12 cab with a chamber for the headshell. So stoked!

Metal Sucks asked me to run it down, and I naturally obliged. Totally flattered.

So much win.
Wes Mantooth wrote:Well I finally feel like my rig is just barely qualified for this thread. Still need to finalize my board and I've also got a Context on the way. The cab on the right is a B Custom Cabs 1x15. It sounds ridiculously good, not just better sounding but I actually can hear more subtle textures of my fuzzes now. Has a great presence without being too trebly, it just fills the room. I'm getting another speaker cable tomorrow to run the two together. The combination of the Eau Claire Thunder and the OR-15 going through the 1x15 is basically exactly how I want to sound. Will post a more in-depth thread this weekend with clips.
That 1x15 is snazzy as fuck. I've been toying with the idea of adding a 1x15 to go under my 2x12 for my Ampeg. MINI STACKS OF FUCKING DOOM.
Now talk dirty to me about that OR15. I played one when they first came out and have been doing my best to convince myself I don't need one since then.
Very nice. Never knew you ran the stock 75s in your cabs.

I'm straight on that for a band name.
Christian's rig kills. Lately I've downsized and become a big believer in less is more.

here's what I've been using with my band lately
I've got more in storage in another local, but i'm fucking around on photoshop instead of studying for finals,
so the whole shebang would look like this:
I'm glad my bandmate is following. he's now got a 2X12, a 6X10 & a 4X12.
