I fEAR change.
Two of em,...stacked in MSU's manner just looks sexy. One,...on it's own?
I don't,...I never trust a single 15 to have the punch I like,...but I can see why the fEarful cabs have an appeal. Also,...Talkbass says your aren't supposed to mix drivers; so it must be true.

Re: Let's see your BASS!
First off.....those basses intimidate me.
Second...yeah....babiesssss.....
3rd, I actually don't like vintage stuff. I much prefer new to old. Newer is betterer. But hot damn....the Mesa 400+ is supreme. That's like the only time (other than Tecmo Super Bowl) where older is betterer. But then they have the new Mesa Strategy coming out.....mmmmmmfffmmmmm....so fucking good looking. So I might be all modern. In any case, NO CLOTH. Haha.
And then 4th, I had my doubts on the fEARfuls as well. Liked what I was hearing but just assumed it was all hyperbole. Figured if I didn't like it, I could sell it and maybe even make some bucks on it (irony being that I LOVE it.....and can't seem to fucking sell it
). But man....I've owned several different brands of 410s....one of these 15/6s is more like a 610 in volume....or a 115 and 210....just SO freaking massive. But it doesn't have any weaknesses. That crossover between the 15 to the 6 to the tweeter...cutting off and moving to the other speaker so that you're never using a "weak" frequency on a speaker....it's just so good. The Mesa is one of the only amps that can give me power while still keeping up with the articulation and definition of that Status S2...but the fEARfuls are like the only cab I've played on that can be powerful and still keep all that clarity.
I'm sold. And the 15/6 I'm selling is just lagniappe sitting around my house since the 15/6/1 is more volume than I'll ever need. Gotta make room for five cribs.
Oh, and five. I took my pants off at 2pm and have no plans of putting those back on.

Hi Jean!

They're not Bees but I like Bee basses too! They are JP Basses. JP (the builder) does not build anymore and has moved on to other things, but he did build some interesting pieces over roughly 10 years; mostly 5 to 12 string instruments with a few 4 stringers here and there.
