As solid of a price as you're gonna get probably. I think I paid $175 for mine? But yea I'd just jump on it since shit doesn't show up often and that's a pretty fair price all round.

It's a standard size, just buy a bottom plate and drill a hole in it for a power-to-battery-snap adapter... Or buy a ZVEX Power Plate...

Bought it, why not. Still buzzing from a couple lump sum insurance payouts

What's funny is...there is literally a thread on another forum about just that, in regards to the very same pedal!

Really? Do they give info on the pedal? This is the only forum I frequent. Got a link?

£130 is really good for a KK. No import fees, quick, cheap delivery and about 50 quid less than a new one in the Seppuku shop too. I'd go for it if I didn't already have one, these don't show up in the UK often.

Oh wait it's sold whatever

It's a great one. The only thing that is kinda quirky about it is bypassing. Gotta remember to put in the right position (because it defaults to a volume).

I wonder if you could mod it for a real power plug? That's the only thing that would drive me nuts.

You mean a three prong or a 2.1 mm center tap jack (like modern pedals)?

I doubt it. Probably converts over to a 15v AC supply or something for the lfo, Mu-Tron style. Would be more trouble than it's worth and be easier just to mount a power strip under the board.

It also has bulbs inside. If a bulb breaks, no sweep.

Jwar, a schulte phaser clone would probably get you close if built into a wah enclosure....Carlin's (though a different design) might be worth checking out. (Major difference in the treadle action though...Morley being all optical)

My bad. Not an AKAi pedal but a "spiritual successor" of sorts.
