Hey MEC - how do the R.V.B. and the WET go together? (I might have asked this before, but please tell me again if I have) I am looking for a supplement for the WET to make the extra lushies and have two different sounds to go from one to the other.

Right now I'm using the R.V.B and WET at the end of two different chains into separate amps and I really like the different textures.
When I tried them in the same chain with all the fuzz it was kind of too much and I couldn't hear the notes/chords that well.
Without so much fuzz they sound really good together and get pretty ambient at deeper settings.
The R.V.B. is a really versatile pedal. The feedback and rumble knobs are useful and the clean boost is nice too.
The R.V.B. doesn't go quite as deep as the WET but I don't think many other reverbs do either.
If you can find one cheap ($100 +/-), I'd say go for it but if you're going to buy new I'd spend the couple extra bucks and get the RRR.
I've heard good things about the TC Hall Of Fame too, and the Stereo Wet comes out next month. :idk:

And don't see Demeter F.O.D. often too... and that Tube Echo.
Nice board!

Thx guys. The FOD is the only pedal that I couldn't do without!
And the td-X I've found to be fairly unreplaceable too! No one seems to dig them! They're total space noise monsters!
I foolishly bought a diamond mm jr thinking it might replace it. Whoops.

bpamier wrote: I've got a Black Cat OD/Fuzz and I really dig it. The overdrive is smooth and sounds quite nice with muted picking, chorus and tons of delay. I think the fuzz has a lot of nice bottom end, which I tend to crack up a bit with the EQ. Solid pedal, IMHO. I think it's just a a silicon Fuzz Face, so you've got to place buffers later in the chain. Your overdrive settings look nice and sparkly.

It is cool, and it seems sound better in a mix than at home. And I love how it chokes out when you have the fuzz and od on at the same time.
BUT I'm gonna check out a black cat superfuzz. I've just been on a crazed mudhoney bender.
Anyone else see that univox superfuzz on ebay get pull at the last minute and relisted at $799  ?
So yeah, even tho I'm still buying PMBs and their clones, I'm starting on a hairy fuzz bender.
Does anyone know anything that sounds like this? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_XG0L9XqinU
I really like the sub octave beating/growl. Soaring leads aren't really my thing.

Boss Tuner -> Boss Comp -> EHX Ring Thing -> MBM Machine -> Boss ODB3 -> Empress Supedelay.

Currently using a Jag, and whatever big ugly solidstate amp I can find.

Soon to have a Schecter Hell Cat
and soon to buy a Tronographics Rusty Box/Smallsound/Bigsound Year 4545

Holy Shit that's a proper ILF board! Fuzz and reverb everywhere. :thumb:

I've definitely settled on the Pharaoh and LSTR for my main board but struggle between the TAFM! and VTF Deluxe, can only fit one of 'em. Thus, I swap those two out pretty regular. Then there's the rest of my fuzz/dirt but those two keep nagging at me....decisions, decisions.

YAY BOOST RVB!!!

Such a good verb, I love mine not sure what I did without it.

Have you found that it can do some insane feedback at extreme settings?

I really like the R.V.B.
The feedback you can get is awesome.

Try this:
Put some heavy fuzz in front of it.
Turn the Rumble and *edit* Depth Time up all the way with the Mix and Feedback at least 50%, maybe a little more.
Play a low E Barre cord and hold it.

It should fade into this wall of low rumble that will continue even after you let go of the note.

 I wonder if you could wire the feedback knob up to an expression out?

Also my reverb of choice. I haven't found myself using the feedback that much I can say this verb works really nice with bass too. You can keep the sound tight but add some awesome space to your fuzz.
