To be honest not really? I mean I have a few things but not anything I could whole-heartedly recommend.

Durarara!!! - Enjoyable enough if a bit ridiculous.

Sekai Seifuku: Bouryaku no Zvezda - I really enjoy this anime, it cracks me up. Probably not for everyone though and if you do look into it don't let the first episode put you off, it gets better. Bit fanservice-y.

Kyoukai no Kanata - Spirit hunter kind of thing. It was ok but I thought the ending was pretty weak. Could have fixed a lot by simply being longer really.

Ryuugajou Nanana no Maizoukin - I've only seen the first couple of episodes and it's not actually finished yet. Seems pretty lighthearted and fun. Might be ok.

^ I'll second Durarara!! - really loved that series, would recommend. Zvezda was cool too.

Ryuugajou Nanana no Maizokin has been pretty interesting so far, i'm up to date on it (10 episodes so far) and it's been pretty solid. Brynhildr in the Darkness is another one airing now that i think is underrated.

Not exactly sure what else fits that criteria.. maybe Angel Beats or Log Horizon? Not sure how relevant but both good shows.

Just remembered Baccano!. Man, that was a cool show.

I really liked Full Metal Panic? Fumoffu. I've watched that a few times. Really funny, and with that sort of character - the bad ass put in mundane situations.

Started Kill La Kill. I am both liking it, and can see why tumblr kids are so into it.
