Thank you very much! It turned out far better than I even anticipated. I figured it would be at best a blurry mess once the printing was done. and well fuck me it's solid as fuck.

Yeah man, how was it done? Electronically printed?
Also, wormdirt, if you could post some internal and baffle shots of that Sunn as is if be eternally grateful.
Trying to work out what the best 215 option for a concert bass is and that thing looks like it might fit the bill.
Problem with Australia is, no Sunn gear to be had, and importing cabs is not an option, so building is gonna be my method of rectification.

I got you, I'll post all the dimensions in the A.M.
I also have a sunn 4x12, the tall, staggered one, that I converted to a 2x15 and I can post some shots of that too, if you want.

it was electronically done. I still didn't trust it coming out looking good. I was profoundly happy it did.

Ok the 2000s cab is...
baffle 52.5" x 30.5" with a boarder of 1" x 1" wood around the front, as a stand off for the grill cloth I guess
The spacing and shit for the baffle are..
5" - 14"(speaker) - 5" - 4.5" (that blank space) - 5" - 14" (speaker) - 5"
the exterior is 54.5" x 16" x 32.5

Oh yeah, and the inside is empty. Just a 1" x 1" boarder around the front and back, to screw the back and baffle into.

Wormdirt, that doesn't look right for a 2000s cab. I have both a 1500s cab(same as 2000s but with 'guitar' speakers), and what used to be a Sunn 1200s cab(6x12 cab same size as 2000s/1500s cabs). From your description I'm sure yours is an 1200s 6x12 cab and someone must have replaced the baffle. The 2x15 cab baffles I think were nailed and glued separate for each speaker to the bracing on the back of each panel(bracing was also nailed/glued to the box) and they also have 'wings' separating each speaker which were dado-ed and glued to the box itself. A 1x6(I think, or 1x4) was also dado-ed and glued horizontally right in the middle in the back side where the back panel screws to it.
Like so. My 2x15 cab when I first got it.
Here's what they looked like earlier this summer. Top is the 1200s with 4x12/1x15 baffle I made from cheap plywood(it was free). Bottom is 1500s/2000s.
Iommic pope, I drew plans for the 2000s/1500s and I will be drawing plans for the 1200s cab soon too. If you're interested I can share them if you give me a couple of days to clean them up and to add specifications of the build.

I got them like that, I just patched them up. They sound OK but they weren't good speakers in the first place. 3 old CTS 12", one newer Eminence made Fender 12" and an old 15" Eminence that came with that cab along with another one. The only speakers I had at the time and decided to give them a try in that cab. I'll eventually restore it and make it the 6X12 that it used to be. I'll probably re-cone those speakers with weber parts just to see how they turn out.

Not really a cab build, but I did make a new grill for a beat up V2 cab that I've recently acquired. Wasn't my first choice, but this oxblood/silver cloth at Mojotone was only like $2.50 per yard, so I couldn't pass that up. Looks nice with the figured maple Home Depot had, at least.
