With all that empty space I'll feel obligated to fill it with awesome.

Bass BMP! How do you like yours?

I love it. Right now it's just giving me a bit of grindy fuzz under my dry tone. But once I get around to getting an XXL B or bass modded TS-9 or the like, it'll go back to being that crazy synthy fuzz that I love.

functionally, that board will actually work better with my bit & eye of god with some cool stuff in the loop... i just had the DAM stuff in there 'cause i was playin the serious brootz and experimenting with the filter and my shoegazer was hooked up on my other board. :idk:

Hey, I wasn't dissing it or anything, it's an awesome board. Just commenting on D*A*M pedals being expensive...
Well, expensive for me...

THey are good pedals though.

Whammy, CHK CHK Boom hooked up to Boss OD3, modded DS1, Fuzzhugger Great Wall with bass mod, Boss RE20 Space Echo, DOD FX25B Envelope Filter, EHX Pulsar, EHX MM w/ Hazarai, EHX Nano small stone, EHX line boost, Boss DD7.

Not that many 'special' pedals in there and I didn't realise I had so much EHX, but it gets the job done. I'm yearning (yeah, that's right, yearning) for a POG 2 to replace the whammy and one of those mini wolf computers for more craziness.

NewarkWilder wrote:sorry man i was having a rotten day yesterday and that post definitely came out a lot grumpier/defensive than I meant for it to... yeah, no denying the DAM gear is expensive, but i suppose i'm a bit of a fuzz connoisseur, lol

i've got fuzz from every end of the spectrum $$ wise and love it all... nothing SUPER crazy, and the most expensive BJF stuff I used to own I've mostly sold off, but yeah i've still got a lot.

but anyway sorry for jumping down your throat there--i just get annoyed in general when people focus on prices instead of sound quality/what they do for you as a musician. you didn't do that but i still reacted that way... so again, sorry man :erm:

It's fine. I can see how that easily could have been misenterpretated. I should've been more clear. :thumb:

What does the Whammy sound like in the loop of the CHK CHK Boom.

hey man, if you change the settings on the DOD Envelope Filter to Blend- 100% sensitivity-0% range 0% and play bass through it, it gives you this sweet dub tone. :thumb:

Wow, I need to try that. I must admit I have been fairly unimpressed with the dod pedal so far. I'm not sure if mine is faulty (second hand off the bay, what are you gonna do?), but the only time it seems to work is with sensitivty at 3 and onwards, and even then you need to hold the note a long time before it dives through all the pitches, so its really quite trebley most of the time (through guitar).

As for the CHK CHK BOOM... well I ain't sure but that's something to try out. The effect in general isn't that convenient. With my phaser it just gives this ice pick feedback or nothing at all... with the delays it swells but I kinda have that covered with the space echo anyways, but with the overdive it gives a cool (but quiet) oscillation, which you can control with all three knobs and boost with the volume control. I'll have to try the whammy but I have a feeling either nothing will happen or more ice pick feedback.

It's not broken, the sensitivity is crazy! You need to pack a punch to get it to work below there. If you put a booster in front, it will work at lower settings. Yes, it is also incredibly trebley on mine too, but I bougt it because Bucketehad does some intense Funk Jams with it. :idk:

That seems fair. I might switch places so it goes before the distortion and fuzz and try this stuff out tomorrow. I only got the tremolo a few days ago along with enough power connections so I ain't 100% set on what order my pedals should be in, but I like having at least one or two effects set after my looper for a bit of craziness.
