I should have tracked the package. I didn't think about it. I left the receipt in my apartment, and I'm away visiting family. BUT I WAS QUOTED THAT THE PACKAGE SHOULD GET THERE TODAY, so if my Secret Santa-ee gets his package today, please go ahead and open it!

They quoted you the truth, buddy! *smile* UPS dropped it off half an hour ago and I've been playing on the drums ever since!

It's really fun, Jaymes, I like it a lot! What he did is take a drum instrument toy and build in a noise machine, that's the knob, and the push-buttons trigger cymbals and toms. He put on a 1/8" output jack and power switch too. So all that right there is totally awesome and sounds really cool.. but he also added a bunch of touch points that affect the noise circuit and rate of the drums and it's extra cool sounding.

Really cool project, nicely done, and I'm really happy to have it.. didn't have anything remotely close!

Jaymes/wdinc01 also made me a mixed metal tape and sent a bunch of candies.. you guys call those Smarties hey? You have chocolate Smarties too or no? I think we call the little candies Rockets up here...

Glad you liked it! I think I've seen chocolate Smarties around here too, but they're not REAL Smarties. I made that sound toy for an art class, and I told myself I was going to send it to whoever my assignment is. I got really nervous when I got you, but if you're happy then that's all that matters! The mixtape came from another art project, which is why the cover is weird like that.

Such awesome gifts. I seriously love the strap, its shiny as fuck :cool:

, the donner party is equally awesome and sounds like the only good sound you can get out of a fuzz factory. Havent had a chance to listen to the cds yet, but I've been meaning to listen to the Flaming Lips for a long time. The stickers of your band? are awesome, super cool design. Pins were an awesome addition with the gears one securing a place on the shiny strap!
