Are there good places to go pedlulz shopping here in SF? I think the only place I've hit up in town is the
place on Haight, which was
okay, I guess. I came in wanting an overdrive and the dude kept trying to push me on a frigging Z.Vex Woolly Mammoth, and he was nice enough and all, but man, when I say "I have great fuzz tones and want some definition," don't immediately shove a $325 bass fuzz at me. Fairly mainstream collection (I walked out with an OCD), prices comparable to internet.
I used to live down the street from The Starving Musician in Berkeley, which basically tacked on a few hundred dollars extra to my rent. But I did get some cool gear out of it. Miss that place TONS!

fuck YESH. i love Starving. i used to live on Haste like 2 blocks away. i'm still only about 10 minutes away. great guys. they still hae Dwarfcraft and they just started srocking JHS and SubDecay!
that was a place i was gonna take him. i like RobotSpeak in SF for more computer/electro stuff.
Goz'ahz - lulz. seafood usually means sushi to me. there's mad yummy spots all over SF and the Oakland for all kindsa foods. your grrL might like 4th St in Berkeley and College Ave. Anthropologie and some other booteequey grrL places. Hayes is nice in SF too.

Oh man, I was going there like 6 years ago - no Dwarfcraft in sight, but it's where I picked up my Lo-Fi Loop Junky. Sushi at Kirala is pretty killer, if memory serves, too.
Where's RobotSpeak? I don't do much computer/electro stuff, but I always love to look.
Provided that there's droolguards appropriately in place.

it's at Haight and Steiner.
http://www.robotspeak.com/like a store sized version of the pro audio section at GC but people work there are nerds that know what the hell they're talking about. good stuff.
yah. Starving in Berkeley also carries some Death By Audo, SuppukuFX and other weird noisy stuff. yummy!

I wish I lived in a town that had better FX selection.
Currently I can go to a local Mom and Pop and pick up whatever Toadworks pedal I want,...but considering Toadworks is a local company,....THEY'D BETTER BE FUCKING STOCKING R.DUNNS SHIT.
If all I want is run of the mill BOSS, EHX, and Digitech stuff,....I'm set,...but I'm not into run of the mill.
