It's no so much the emotional giving in as the financial giving in. We'll see how it shakes out after Disneyland this weekend, baby birthday party next weekend and whether or not I can sell a guitar and my belt sander.BoatRich wrote:fixed that for youCorey Y wrote:Thanks Skip, now I just need to give in to the temptation to have a matching custom 4x15 built.Ancient Astronaught wrote: Welcome to the Family bud!!! 300W, 6x KT88, Hiwatt DR405 transformers with taps for 2/4/8/16 ohm. Mainly for bass, it's basically a super load and clean power amp with a moderate gain ORMAT style preamp, 2 band EQ with an added active mid and low/mid/hi freq select. Very meat and potatoes, to my taste. I'm also going to use it for guitar as well, since I always use clean amps with pedals for guitar, I have an Atlas 612 incoming soon to pair with it. Nick at Dunwich Amplification custom designed it for me after a lot of conversation back and forth and it came out great. Here's a shot of the back/inside he took before shipping it out...
