Boogiepop Phantom is bizarre as hell. Also Denpa teki o Kanojo never seems to get mentioned but i dug that quite a bit. Mardock Scramble is in the same vein as GITS/Ergo/Lain.
Cat Soup, The Tatami Galaxy, Kino's Journey and Kaiba are kinda in a different vein but are way out there so i would still really recommend those.

As for the rest (because I have no clue how to multiquote), I'll definitely check out season 2 of sword art, Gurren Laggan is ridiculous and over the top and I really dig it, it's not really sad enough though? Which makes me sound like a downer, but it's my only real nitpicky thing about it. Elfen Lied is one I got through the first episode on and then forgot to pick back up so I may do that, and the rest I'll have to check out. If it helps, I have both Crunchyroll and Netflix so streaming usually isn't an issue.

Cromartie is one of my favorites. The dub is way better than the sub IMO. Got some sweet music too.
I love those high school gang/banchou series from the 70s and 80s.

So I was skimming through new anime from last year that I missed and Psycho-Pass is pretty good.

Was billed as a not-as-good GitS meets Blade Runner meets Minority Report, which is true, but come on, it's GitS meets Blade Runner meets Minority Report.

Next is going to be Shin Sekai Yori.
Then Uchouten Kazoku, which is based on a novel by the guy who did Tatami Galaxy.

Psycho-Pass was super solid, really glad it's getting a second season. Will be interesting to see where they go with it all.

Inferno Cop is fucking awesome.

Started Kill La Kill. I am both liking it, and can see why tumblr kids are so into it.

Just remembered Baccano!. Man, that was a cool show.

Kill La Kill seemed decent, only caught a couple of eps, though.

Watched multiple series in the past few weeks. Guilty Crown kind of sucked. The Irregular at Magic High School was ok. I liked Noragami a lot. The Devil is a Part Timer was the best.
