Okay - since the potentiometers are soldered directly to the circuit board there is no real chance (and no need) to rewire it.
It's not a bug - it's a feature!

The thing that's really weird about it is that the speed/freq increases by turning the knob clockwise

Gut shot of the DPM. Looks a hell of a lot neater than some of the examples in this thread (which I have now read all of)
Turns out I originally bought it new back in 2009. Don't remember actually talking with Rhys directly, not do I recall how long it took. I just ordered it and then it came

Cool! It's even more versatile than the original Mind Warp that I know since yesterday! I bet it sounds lovely in the chorus settings with the added delay.

I gotta say, the best sounding thing was your fingers sliding against the strings.

Yeah it really opens up the pedal in interesting directions, excellent addition to a great pedal.

Does it have the same range of depth? Or is it a little more subtle? I think it sounds great either way, just curious. Nice pick up, UG.

I havnt done a side by side comparison but I think thy are similar although this one seems to get more extreme speeds at both ends of the spectrum...but I'm not 100% certain yet.
