Hey guys, let's wait one more week. Question: Where do you put your CT5 in your chain?

1st. I use all my other pedals to fuck up the loops I make and then capture all that with a DL4 at the end, then wipe the ct5 and do it over and over again :!!!:

I also use ot for straight up reverse delay and I love havin that first too.

i figured this would be a good spot to post this - my band recently released our album that took a long time to accomplish, but i use the count to five (first version) a few times in it

http://hotdirt.bandcamp.com/album/areyouayoungman

first time on "taco spell" starting at 44 seconds, for a second at the end of the long extended loop part, then again at ~6 minutes

the next song it's on is at the very beginning of "nineteen", then again at 4:38 for a little while too.

the last song it's on is at the end of "mediocrion", i set it up at 6:30 or so.

here's a shot of my board that i used to record this album - i have both the pitchfork and the CT5 going to the dual expression pedal. I've learned the difficult way - parking the expression at the "eye of the storm", so to speak, in mode 3 is really tricky to do but is definitely something you can train. It's something that makes you really work on your timing if you want it to sound right. I enjoy a board that is partially sentient and the CT5 really helps to achieve that effect.

I'm really interested in hearing if anyone else has some CT5 in any of their respective projects!

Cool board!

What do you think about the Strymon multi switch for the Timeline? How do you use it?

I'm thinking about getting one to have easy access to the looper that I could use more freely than the Boomerang that I want to keep for my main looper needs live because of the midi sync.

Thanks!
The multi switch is definitely a must for me as I was really used to the dl4 set up, and when you're in looper mode on the main unit it does all the extra functions that it does and an undo/redo. If you're using it as a looper while not in the looper mode its a little more limited but it can serve a lot of purposes that way too, I haven't really used it for that as much. My only complaint is that there's no LEDs on it. I likes me LEDs
