PP, how do you like WS->BOR stack? better than overdriving amps?

PumpkinPieces wrote:Blue Box -> White Spider -> Box of Rock -> Mr. Echo -> modded small clone.

And due to lack of patch cables, the leftovers: 33, OK, SP-AE, Q-tron, Wolf Computer prototype, torn's Peaker.

Well its a powered pedal board, so its a part of the board. A Furman SPB-8 I believe.

I like it, the echoing notes distort and lose high end a lot, it makes for a much smoother ambiance when playing riffs. Its not like digital delays where the delayed signal is very present and you can hear the notes clearly, the mr. echo blends them in the background. Also the repeats knob has infinite repeats before it maxes out, so if you crank it it'll repeat into itself (thats the best I can describe it) and it'll start overdrive the amp. I like to keep the knob so it just starts to repeat forever and play "Circles" by Soul Coughing, it provides the wacky ambiance the recording has.

It's perfect. It is not for the faint of heart and gives great sustain. If you crank the texture on the white spider and have your guitar's volume all the way up it's perfect early pumpkins tone too.

Can the Q-Tron get the "Bubbly" filter noise that the Snow White Auto Wah does at the beginning of this clip?

Yes, although I haven't tried it with that much reverb, that sounds delicious.
