yeah I wish I'd been able to snag it. I may do some experimentation with scrap to see If I can reproduce it.

Cut my 218 in half since there was only one speaker in it. As well as picked up a 90s RI big box Rat and a TC Ditto. I need to get my WUMBO muff fixed and get a grill for the 118 and a better volume pedal, thinking a EBVP. Then my dual bass/guitar rig should be set. Sounds like :!!!:

My humble rig...

Schecter I got for a bargain used - somewhat upgraded hardware, tuned to B. The LTD was my first guitar, and I keep it in "Slayer" tuning (Eb / drop Db).

Those go through some dirt boxes into the GVT-15h. The cab is loaded with an Eminence Swamp Thang and Wizard.

And my newest purchase... the obligatory Marshall mega stack...

supposedly a boeing employee that zapped it with the starter for jet engines. I'm thinking link a few batteries together, maybe wet the wood, ground it and zap away. What could go wrong? :thumb:

I have a slightly older version of that LTD that was my first guitar as well! Unfortunately between getting it and learning more about playing, I've discovered I don't care for trems too much. I put one of those tremolno pieces in it, but it does weird things to my sustain and it sometimes slips off...

Yeah, I can't tell you how many times I have wished I didn't get a tremolo bridge for my first. I've considered selling it off, but I love the way it plays otherwise, and I think I would regret selling my first guitar due to sentimental value. My first amp on the other hand was a Crate 120W 2x12 combo that I just can't wait to get rid of. Heaviest god damn paper weight I've ever owned.
