Nacho cheese? Well then who's cheese is it?

Every day my puns get worse and worse, and every day I become more and more proud of them.

i'm warning you, it gets worse the older you get. the other night there was a discussion going on on another forum about tankless water heaters, which set me up perfectly to speculate on finding an installer for same because "it's a tankless job but somebody's got to do it."

So, guy from the band I'm informally auditioning for said they really want to hear me sing. Then he asked how I think we should practice so they can hear my voice. I'm sure I'm thinking about this too much, but I really don't know how to answer this question. Would me simply playing and singing a couple songs make sense? I know a couple covers and could even dig up things I've written in the past. I can't think of any other way I would do this. Now I'm really overthinking this, and I know I'm going to be hella nervous singing in front of three other musicians. I guess I'll just pick three or four songs and play them to death over the next two days.

I'm thinking:
Heimdalsgate Like a Promethean Curse by Of Montreal
Someday by The Strokes
I Think We're Alone Now by Tommy James and the Shondells
Freak Scene by Dinosaur Jr.

And yes this is the same band I was talking about last week. Turns out they meant next Sunday(now this Sunday).

EDIT: I am putting to much thought and anxiety into this. I'll just rock out and show them who's boss.

just play a couple of songs you know well, like, and feel comfortable with. the point isn't to show them how perfect you are, it's so they can get a general idea of what you sound like. the more familiar you are with the material, the better. or ask them what kind of stuff they already know; if they play something you know, you're sorted. and remember, most people can't sing for shit, so you don't have to be Caruso, you just have to suck less than the guys that don't sing.

I can't figure out if this is a really small woman or a really big baby. I think it's the former, but I can't be certain. For the record, I found this on Wikipedia, the woman is 95 and the baby 5 months.

I am sleepy and yawning and my cat keeps trying to stick her head in my mouth like we are some kind of weird reverse circus act. It is quite disconcerting.
