But why? Putting picks of your wife/self/whatever for a 55$ payout? Why not do that with the pacbell sign? And I have never seen it on ebay before.
That's it...I'm selling on Reverb with my shirt off...

Sticking with Australia, this is still available for a fairly low price. I imagine it will go under the typical asking price, since the seller isn't looking to export it.

Actually can't believe that stuff is in oz.
Genuinely impressed.
I guarantee some idiot will pay too much.
No such thing as "under market value" here.

The price on that SGV is ok. The SGV300 went for 450 new (when I bought mine when it was still in production). Sometimes the SGV300 goes in the 500ish price range. The SGV800 from the same era was like the next step up (there were two more steps up, but I've never seen those in the USA).
The 800 doesn't have the cool blend humbucker, and a less traditional SGV pickup than the 300. It has a nicer finish, but I don't know how much better that guitar is over the 300 (the 800 went to 550-600 new if I remember correctly). I saw that add when it got listed, but it kinda didn't have enough good pictures (and the listing says "good" but the photo looks stock to me). I actually almost bought that color years ago (2003?) but got the yellow SGV300.
I think it is an alright price, but I would really have to see the finish etc before knowing for sure. There is also a 1968 one up right now.
Love those guitars though...Thinner neck (but not shredders...more like some old silvertones) and, at least the 300, nice gritty pickups.

Yeah it's pretty funny but I've noticed it occurring with a bit more frequency lately.
What until reverb is full of hipsters and scene girls in their boyfriend's denim vest, laid out on all the emperor cabs he's now selling because "doom is too mainstream and he's on to the next wave".
Fuck $600 for that RAT.
Seriously.
Fuck that.

I understand this thread as one made for outrageously *good* deals that pop up online, but ever since I've started following it there seem to be more posts about outrageously *bad* deals. Tbf there's definitely more of the latter than of the former

dunno, I don't see too many Tone knob rats. especially in this good of a condition. if you're into vintage pedals i don't know that $600 is exactly outrageous. a good clone from someone like Jerms is going to cost you like $350 anyways, and if you are someone that would want the real deal

luckily i've already got one
