X-ray nutvision was super cool though. I wish I could have gotten them to record the video feed for me. It was almost worth that whole ordeal.

So after years of hearing how much of a party the J Geils Band shows were in the 70's and 80's, I finally got to see a picture of them in their prime:

I saw J. Geils back around '76 or '77. "party" doesn't even begin to describe it. the place--the Aragon Ballroom in Chicago--was so rammed that they had karate dudes clearing the aisles and people were standing in the lobby. UFO as the second act, too.

I just got kindof an awkward text from this dude's girlfriend saying that she should have "picked" me over this dude.. I'm like yeah you should have but you think you can just pick me?

I love how at :37 the guy just looks at him like, "You're really not helping."
But really Lt. Bukowski, that's always sketchy. I'm kinda in a situation like that myself. She may say she wants you now, but it's not until she leaves her bf and has some time to process her feelings that it's really worth any sort of emotional investment.
