hurm. all y'all with the Back Row Hard To Get To stylin's - is that always on stuff? things you only need on for a whole song or structure it on purpose so you can crouch down to it? do y'all have the narrowest, most pointiest feets in the WORLD?

i have to put those PT Risers under my back row to make up for my sloppy galumphin's. i'm clumsy and have big feet. i would CRUSH pedz in front without Le Risèrz. love 'em.

murrrrrr?

and yeah, Ryan got the Rat Tail RIGHT.

Not sure how I'll manage that.

I like your new board :thumb:
But more fuzz!! :)

Thanks dude!
I'm working on it. There were 4 on there at one point.
I have no idea why there is one. The chorus might be going up for sale sadly. NEED FUZZ.

Holy crap Tim. You have gone insane. I never thought you'd fill that board.
No more BYOC Flanger? Why? Also, how's the multidrive!?

HIPPIE!! HIPPPPPIEEEE FEEEETSSS!!!

i LOVE shoes. they're my special friends. we go way back.

yeah. i get all escited playing and have a hard time not mashing two pedals at the same time on the easier, more accessable bottom row. which is either pure Accident Awesome, or horrible mangled poo-making. y'all gots SKEELZ.

and when i play at home in my feets, i always have a way harder time being exact enough with a single toe than the big mashig surface of my shoes.

I know this reply is 9 months or so after the original post, but damn... Those bedroom boards are where it's at!

Nice choice of pedal... but the current board is probably a lot different. :)

Do you really need the little buffer even with the bypass looper?

You make a good point, I may not. After the looper I have the verb, trem, boost, and tuner in the chain all the time. When I'm live also go out to a volume pedal, then to the amp, so there is still some considerable length of cable before the amp. That said, part of the reason I like to have the buffer at the start of the chain is because it's easily replaceable. I figure if I trip over a cable on stage and rip apart the first pedal in my chain, I'd rather it be my buffer than the loop pedal or the Keeley mod Vox wah. It doesn't take up much space, so at the end of the day neither here nor there. UPDATE: I was thinking about it after posting this, and one other reason the buffer might be useful is that I sometimes activate several pedals via the looper. In each loop I have several pedals (two for drive, three for mod) so I quickly add pedals and cable to the chain when I activate the looper. I suppose the buffer would help strengthen the signal through all of that.

I know it looks tough in the pic, but I use the last row often, and it's no prob reaching it. The only weird one is the Subdecay Proteus tucked in behind the wah. I actually have that one in the same loop as the wah, so I can turn it on and off using the looper (as long as I'm not using the wah in the same song). And even though it doesn't look it, it's pretty easy to sneak my foot in next to the wah to grab the on/off switch on the Proteus. Had those stagetrix pedal risers for a while and hated 'em.

No more BYOC Flanger? Why? Also, how's the multidrive!?

Well, it's not as full as it could be. I left a lot of space between the pedals and could cram in a bunch more if I wanted. I find right now it's really easy to grab everything, and I've got everything I need on there.

Although I loved the flanger, I found myself always going for the phaser, so I pulled it off the board. Still have it, but am thinking about just selling it outright.

Man, we should get together in the next couple of weeks so you can try out the Multidrive. This thing is blowing my mind, I'm totally in love with it! I'm gonna be a lazy ass and just copy and paste some thoughts I had already written on it. But instead of reading on, just come over and try it for yourself, it is so goddam amazing! Ok, here's what I wrote about it earlier (sorry everyone for such a stupid long post):

I'm really (REALLY!) loving the Multidrive! For quite some time now my main dirt has been the BE Twosome and some other overdrive pedal. I got the Multidrive to be my primary overdrive.

I've had some other drives that I thought sounded excellent, but found that they did one sound very well, but that was all. I hoped that the Multidrive would not only sound great, but sound great in many different ways.

I think there has been some resistance to this pedal because it looks like it's supposed to be a all-in-one dirt replacement. The idea however is that you dial in the one or two sounds that you're looking for in any given situation, and stick with that until the next gig. Although it looks overly complicated, it's really quite easy to imagine the sound you want, and to then shape it into reality using the Multidrive.

Also, the pedal is really quite small, and could be easily complimented with other dirt (hence my Twosome) for someone looking for a variety of sounds on the fly.

I mainly use the overdrive section, which alone, is an absolutely top notch circuit. It goes from extremely light gain to just mid/high gain. It doesn't colour my tone, and stacks well with my Twosome.

Second to that, I use the distortion most. As you may or may not know, the distortion actually has three switchable settings: Mild (a Marshall voiced light drive), Crunch (a Marshall voiced heavy drive), and Lead (a very high gain drive).

I use the fuzz only to blend in to the other two drives. I think it sounds great, but I already have an excellent dedicated fuzz pedal in the chain.

Anyway, I could write so much more about the Multidrive, but this post is already too long for a pedalboard thread. Suffice it to say, the Multidrive is an incredibly tweakable and excellent sounding pedal!

Wow.

I have a feeling this is how I'll feel with the multi drive though...

I know, I know, it looks stupid. I promise, it's really intuitive. Anyway, I've spammed this thread enough with Multidrive talk, let me know when you're free to drop by...

There's an Empress pedal missing on your board....... the new compressor. :)

Man, it would be cool to have their whole lineup on the board. I had the Diamond for a bit, and while I loved having it for when I wanted 'that' sound, I just found I didn't use it often enough, and could certainly live without it. Even though the Empress comp looks wicked, I just don't know if I can justify getting it!

Thanks dude.

I like it enough to have two. :!!!:

It's a fuzz that sounds good byself, but great when boosting an already dirty amp or overdrive pedal. It just sounds... right. There is a reason why everyone on here digs them so much. I thought everyone was just silly at first, but this thing slays. It takes a bit of time to reallly get used to, but it's totally worth it.

Tom also has awesome customer service. Probably the best dude I've ever dealt with. Mine is also an example of the raaaadd custom art he can do too.

:thumb:

I sorta wish he wasn't the mod, because it makes my sales pitch less legitimate, but yeah. It's great. Buy one. It's slowly kicked all my other fuzzzzies to the curb.
