Talk about scaling back! Last time I saw TMV live, Omar had four MONSTER boards and 40-50 pedals with no true bypass looping or anything. Longest signal chain I've ever seen live and it sounded killer!
Looks like he picked up an M9 and left a shitload of pedals at home for their most recent tour, embracing simplicity (hope that translates to some of the songwriting...). I bet his tech is fucking ecstatic.

Here's Juan's current setup, some EQD love within:

I like how the mic finally kicks in towards the end of Omar's interview.

I dunno/remember if this was posted here before but Juan demonstrates & talks about his pedals, basses etc on Janek Gwizdala's video and also mentions the fact that they decided to simplify their setups a lot.

If I were doing an Omar/TMV rig I'd totally grab an m13/PODHD500
Seriously one of the weirdest noise makers out there today.

My favorite part is when he talks about the distortion pedals. He seems almost nervous to mention it, and assures us the Wiggles don't use them much. But, he has several of them on his board so you just know that when the camera shuts off he rocks out.

I first saw a Maton in an episode of the Wiggles. I had no idea what it was until years later at a Queens show.
