Nah, I think this year has gone crazy, in a good way. But it's definiteky the thought that counts. I'd be way happier with a cheapo pedal that was 100% goroth than like some expensive Tortuga Effects blues jock speciale.

Got the pedal in!!! And I reeeeeaaally wish I could plug the crap out of it because it's awesome (yeah I tried it, who has that much willpower? (and it didn't involve destroying a box so everything will remain minty)) but gotta preserve that anonymity


^And totally, it ain't about the money spent, it's about how cool what you get is! And some cheap things can be as cool as expensive things. It might be corny but it's the thought that counts!

And it's more fun spending money for one of your lot than on the fam. (Well, saving my daughter, but then again she is still too little to appreciate the thought-out gifts.)

Yeah, I think it's mostly the taxes and shipping that make it so fucking expensive for us euroduders who are getting the pedal and stuff from overseas.
I also had to go with overseas stuff because it was just the coolest option in this case I thought, depending on taxes I'm also up to about 250 euro's for the whole thing in my last estimations.
Well, fuck it, shit happens, it's lots of fun too though, I'm pretty excited about it!

That's why I had to get the same pedal I ordered for my staklee for myself. From me, to me!

Yeah, no shit. I will have spent close to 100 euros on just shipping, taxes and customs fees by the end of this. Totally worth it though!

This is probably the most on top of any Christmas gift buying any of us has ever been. haha.

I keep costs down by DIY-ing, but I think it's still gonna add up this year. It just makes it easier to go even more over the top.

Guys, i didn't even Start getting my stuff together. I have a hard time being Christmas active before November. But whatever, i have almost all figured out. Most important thing.
Shipping Box is ready, Post Office 40 sec. by foot away. So i will def. ship mid november latest. Should be no problem afaik.

Yeah I got some good ideas but nothing will be set on stone until mid November. I'll prob. Ship the first week in December priority.

D.I.Y ing just makes the gift a little more personal I think. As long as it is quality, then its all good. I finished my pedal build for my santee last week. I'm really proud of it. I really hope they like it. It is better built than pedals I built for my self.
