Kids in the Hall ran on Comedy Central in the early days.

This may be totally un-PC and completely speaks to my sense of humor but I get such a kick out of flipping through the channels and landing on spanish language daytime shows. There's a reason Late Night talk shows always pic fun at them...the overwhelming drama and ADD-like cuts and super colorful dress/set design plus the nonsensical scenarios leave me giggling like a 6 year old. I often imagine that it's probably somewhat similar for a non-native english speaker watching a show like Friends but I get the feeling that it probably isn't.

For me the funniest was and still is The Benny Hill Show. To me the episodes are hilarious. Sure the jokes are old but I do actually LOL. MM

Kitchen Confidential hasn't been mentioned and was pretty funny for the short while it aired... but that may have been from working in kitchens previously.

If you have played fantasy football, you would like The League. It was on FX, and you can watch the whole first season on Hulu. Gritty humor similiar to IASIP.

Hands down It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, but Monty Python's Flying Circus at a close second.
