1. It's more or less a Big Muff. I modded a black russian BMP to lift the diodes which really opened up the pedal. a Jumbo Tonebender is like a Big Muff with one set diodes lifted out. on the BMP I modded it still got plenty fuzz
2. taking out the tone stack and recovery gain stage (the recovery stage isnt in a jumbo tonebender, but is in a big muff) will not only flatten out the voice (no mid scoop) but also make the circuit about 30% simpler. simple is good, as the party favors focus on simple circuits.

What do the Walco Sustainer mods do anyway? I have one of those and it's a weird noisy unit.

the toggle switch lifts some diode or transistor, i cant remember, basically turns it into a glitchy distortion, sort of like if an Aenima was an really dirty overdrive, it has a gate sort of like on an Aenima. like if stop playing abruptly it will stay dead silent for like 1 sec, but then a ton of white noise comes back.

the knob is starve. 2k i think, but in regular mode a second half of the toggle switch (its a dpdt) parralels a small resistor, 1k or 470 ohms maybe, in parralel with the 2k starve pot to make it a smaller value. cuzz in normal mode a really small starve of like 0-500 ohms (or maybe 1k) helps adjust it so you can get a more predictable/reliable swell attack.

RE: Miracle Rabbit... I might have a couple prototypes later this year, dont know that it will make it to full production until january.

How about a hairy tooth-fairy treble booster to electrocute the teeth fillings? :idk:

i've been digging up more and more reviews suggesting the jumbo tonebender (and clones of it) are awesome for bass. excited
