I couldn't justify starting a whole new thread for this, and couldn't think of anywhere else to put it. Even if no bugger's posted in this thread in 2 years, seems apt given it's about Billy's Muff and references the infamous Creamy Dreamer.

I've just been watching the "Inside the Zeitgeist" doc on youtube (Don't judge me), and at 2:07, there's a shot of a bunch of pedals on the floor, and one of them looks like the infamous Creamy Dreamer pedal:

Pic's a bit fuzzy, but it looks suspiciously like one. Billy's never said he's used it, but maybe it is there, somewhere on Zeitgeist, the Zwan album or even Machina...

I suspect none of this is really revelatory, but I felt like putting this out there.
People assume that time is a strict progression of cause to effect, but actually from a non-linear, non-subjective viewpoint, it's more like a big ball of wibbly-wobbly, timey-wimey... stuff.

It still pretty much is, as far as I know, in that the dude who was flogging them back in the day overexaggerated Billy's use of it back then (much like EH exploiting the "fact" that Jimi Hendrix possibly used the first Triangle muffs just before he died). I don't really hear much on Machina or anything since, that says "modded Big Muff" tone-wise. Then again, he's got the IC Muff that has the sound some people have been chasing since 1993.

I just happened to spot something that at best is rather tenuous, and potentially amusing that somewhere down the line Billy Corgan might have actually made use of the Creamy Dreamer, somewhere. That pedal has bits of tape on it - setting markings maybe?

I'm as confused as anyone. :?:

the biggest bullshit was the builders claim that it was THE pedal used on Siamese dream
total BS since the pedal hadn't even been built at that point in time.

or the lesser claim that it was used on machina

the guy gave billy the pedal. if it was used is up to speculation.
billy still having it doesn't proove anything, the pedal isn't even plugged in in the picture.

he has devi's rocket even though he doesn't use it.
now posting as Forrrest.
