clips sound amazing on that an-other pedal!
So....this is a bit weird.DOSS BS-1 wrote:Yeah that mid-fi is nice.
The Vein-Tap Dark Waves v3 tremolo has sixteen waveforms including a two random options, random levels and random slopes. That slopes option has me![]()

Yeah, the Skitter is a rad pedal. It's not that they both have random settings, it's that they have the exact same 16 waveforms.Chankgeez wrote:The Skitter has "random (levels), random (slopes)" too.![]()

I just asked the Sentimental Bob dude straight up on IG and he explained that they're built off the same LFO chip.Blood_mountain wrote:Yeah, the Skitter is a rad pedal. With the Sentimental Bob and the Dark Waves, the waves and the wave "legend" are just exactly the same, the top pic I posted is from the Dark Waves website linked above and the pic is of the Sentimental Bob pedal. You don't often see that unless they're mass produced pedals that are then branded differently.
That makes sense. It's crazy that they both used the same graphic without modifying anything.Blood_mountain wrote:I just asked the Sentimental Bob dude straight up on IG and he explained that they're built off the same LFO chip.Blood_mountain wrote:Yeah, the Skitter is a rad pedal. The Sentimental Bob pedal is cool because it has a Hold mode activated with that "Bypass" switch, so the tremolo is only active when the switch is held down.DOSS BS-1 wrote:That makes sense. It definitely does random trem. There’s a sweet spot with the frequency and rate knobs where it skips around a medium trem speed.chromandre wrote:come to think of it, the moog ring mod is likely capable of seemingly random tremolo sounds. possibly even something you can route by adding 1 patch cable on the CV parts
