the analog delay i've heard that i like the most is the JAM Pedals Delay Llama+. i like the way the repeats sound, and the infinite-feedback switch seems more useable than most from the demos i've seen, i.e. it doesn't go totally batshit crazy and double in volume when you hold the switch down.

Ha, that's so funny—I thought the feedback switch on mine was kinda worthless, couldn't get it to do much at all. The delay sounded good overall though, but I sold it.

Yep, the way of teh ILF.
Also, my favorite new thing to put in delay fx loops is an envelope filter. Makes the repeats super murky but with a little filtery swooshiness to them...

that sounds awesome.
i was looking at a bitquest today and thinking that would be great on the rubberneck fx loop, just a lil touch of bitquest on the signal.
and also a micro pog. i looked at a million pitch shifters and i think this is the best one for the delay fx loop. the T1M guy does a micro pog mod for $100 where he adds a 2nd switch and an extra set of knobs (3) below the original 3, you have 2 presets to go to live.
would be cool to have a second polyphonic pitchshift to go to for a delay fx loop. not sure if that's $100 cool, though.
and just now i noticed JHS guy has a mod called "quadra pog mod" which i'm assuming is the same thing T1M guy did first, but with 4 presets instead of 2, because of course Josh the JHS guy would do that
or maybe i'm just being a negative nancy
but probably not
i saw josh the jhs guy on someone else's youtube channel the other day and notice he was wearing a wedding ring. my first thought was "how does he keep his wife from finding about all the foreign-born slave boys he keeps in his dungeon"
dude is legit creepy

I clicked on a jhs youtube video once and the intro had some music that was an obvious sound-alike for the Portlandia theme song and I was like damn homeboy really has not had an original thought his entire life.

The T1M guy totally killed a brand new Pitchfork I sent him and it took forever to get him to respond to it. Lost $95 in the deal. Beware.

thanks a lot for sharing this. i was going to buy a couple things from him down the road a little.
i had actually found a pretty old thread from Gearslutz where someone started a thread saying essentially "T1M ripped me off, watch out for this guy" and because of that T1M guy made it right. Just an idea. I post a decent amount over there, I could bump your thread a couple times if need be
@friendship
lol @ the jhs portlandia song
that shit really is the worst

There are endless threads on TGP about that guy. Not worth it. Glad to be rid of him. No way.
It was a mess and he was super evasive, unhelpful and unrepentant. I mean, you don't test a pedal before you send it? Caveat emptor.

anything cool that would work for a delay loop guys! cheaper the better!
I keep a Gonkulator in mine and it's the best.
For maximum utility and minimum money, I'd heartily recommend one of the Zoom MS pedals in there. You'll have good versions of all the effects mentioned upthread.

Second on gonkulator. If you have an envelope filter that's rad too.. I like the meatball, the rattle crow and my dirty bird.. rainbow machine is particularly dope too

if u like the sound of running a buffer into a vintage germanium fuzz/boost then you will fucking love the dm4

it was probably just my amp, didnt know how to handle the signal for some reason because of troglodyte preamp tube technology. the line6 might be a great unit. the fuzz face setting was the one i stayed on a lot, in retrospect it didnt really sound like a fuzzface that much. sort of. well it was digital, and relatively early on in the amp and distortion modeling game
the delay from that line obviously stood the test of time
