Have you guys seen Doomed: The Untold Story of Roger Corman's the Fantastic Four? It's a better watch than Roger Corman's the Fantastic Four.

They should reboot Howard the Duck, and put Mike Judge at the helm.

I love how behind scene/commentary/making of featurettes sometimes inspire you more than the film or whatever.

Rodger Corman directed more than 3 of my favorite films...Not of This Earth & the day the world ended...& it conquered the world...swamp diamonds....shyyit..

howard the duck had that one actor who was in beetlejuice...think he got picked up for kido porno, shame shame....cuz he fuckin rocked in every movie...especially when he was taken over and transformed into a creature from the darkness or whatever in howard the duck....fuckin lucas....lucas looks like jabba the hut its not even funny...

p.s. kaeth MAXX ruled, so regretting selling those comics off for 4cents a peice or somthin...was outa my mind idk...fuckin 8 bucks..... :picard:

That's cool that Howard makes an appearance. I hear Adam Warlock's cocoon is shown in the new Guardians movie briefly too. I just read classic Warlock up until the end of the Jim Starlin run, and a Warlock film would be wicked. I'm guessing he'll be in the new Avengers flick. I haven't cared much for the others, but I'm not gonna turn my nose up at a Starlin-inspired script.

IDW recently released the "Maxximized Edition" in 7 hardcover books. It's recolored and looks great. I think they're worth picking up.

I'm sure they'll use him prominently in the Infinity War stuff.

Would have been nice if they did both story arcs, but the second one gets real deep into the rape stuff, so I can see why they didn't.
Loved the Maxx as a kid.
Crabbits and skywhales for all.

I watched Suicide Squad on the weekend...it was rubbish.

The only keeping watching was Harley Quinn

I mean once diablo dies...the squad doesn't really have any super powers right? Their either just good fighters or can fire a gun well. But in a world of super villains, how would this group have any success???

but is that because Netflix are making it and they have similar people working on it as they did on daredevil etc?
I'm not sure...just asking...as a lot of the Netflix super hero shows seem very to be a very similar style.

Netflix isn't involved with DC's shows.

Yeah i didn't know if they were, so more of a question than a statement.

looks like Warner Bros was involved in it...

The interesting thing is, the DC movies from my youth are some of my favourite films...ie, Superman movie (Chistopher Reeve version), and the black and white TV shows were amazing...the old Batman TV shows from the 60's...and the Flash Gordon movies form the 80's, i loved that film.

That Jon Bernthal is simply DREAMY as Frank Castle.
Cannot wait for the standalone series consisting only of sheer brutality and psychological torment.

Edited twice because fuck my phone.

There's some charm there, but is unbelievably corny. The acting is pretty poor, too. Bit the first season was fun, at least, which was enough for me to watch it.
