The Pedals and Effects blog has really cool interviews with a few of those makers. I enjoyed Ryan's interview in particular.

From my experience as HC mod back in the day, roughly a quarter of builders are gigantic babbys. ILF peoples mostly seem to buck that trend, thankfully (at least on the surface).

Wait, irony doesn't come across the internet like it does in person? I will say that the bass-drive is a terrific pedal, though I'm thinking of selling it because I like the Markbass Mini-Distortion better for bass.

Definitely planning on it. There are dozens of makers I'd love to weigh in on this (not to mention doing the same thing with boutique luthiers, eurorack designers, etc etc)

Thanks for reading!
I was in the article, but thank you for thinking of me :). We talked about how much we love Christian and Adventure Audio.

$100k on r&d and Fuller shipped the TTE with 456 for years. :picard: Yes, Otto, apes do read Niezche, they just don't understand it. Hmm. First brilliant mind to sell a commercial tape echo that didn't use cart tape. All those transport issues in brand fucking new units. Must be the end users' fault!

Tells you what a stupid hack he is. On top of his decades of his assholier than thou shit.

Wittgenstein's bro jokes in this thread: oddly persistent. Haha, dunno what to do with them, but the dedication is there...

I mean Wittgenstein did say, “A serious and good philosophical work could be written consisting entirely of jokes."

petty, vain, error-prone, dismissive, snarky hubris…

It looks like this document of demise checks most of the Bingo boxes, that one would expect to be laden throughout Mike Fuller’s departure notice.
