Honestly, Americans are some of the least annoying tourists.
And I got free iced tea at a restaurant the other day. Blew my mind. They charge for tap water and condiments here...

There are plenty Italians tourists here in the city and they are extremely polite 
Americans you hear them cocking because they're just loud (I actually witnessed an American going crazy in a restaurant because the servings were too small ). Japanese and Chinese tourists, you hear them coming because they are always in a giant group with a tour guide
