For me, having a pair of inexpensive earbuds in my pocket at all times that I can just plug into my phone is way more convenient than caring for a bluetooth set.
I don't seem to have the chord woes that others do, but :idk:
I'm not arguing for audio quality, just relative convenience.

Yeah Im always scared ill lose them but thankfully there is always some little pocket on a computer bag that fits them perfectly. However...the ones without at least the little connecting cord scare me because i know ones just going to fall out of my ear and ill step on it or something.....

lordgalvar wrote:There are certain kind of games (most of which aren't on systems like PS4 anyway) that any controller lag will ruin the whole game experience. Shooters are one (really shooters not FPS). Even lag in the mechanical switch mechanism (throw) can really make a difference. Scores won't even be considered unless the entire system is running at ideal (some ports of shooters run at different frame rates, Ibara PS2 is an example, and scores do not equate). So, depending on the game, wire is still necessity. On my Xbox 360, I run all wired but still notice controller problems (which could be due to the game port or to using USB even...which is processor dependent). Not calling you out, just mentioning that there will probably always have to be mechanical switches and cables for things to act right (membrane buttons need to die too...trash).
i get what you mean, i'm really only talking about new games optimized for the system with said wireless controller. ports are spotty in general and i'd only expect something to be able to eliminate all of those issues on PC.
overall i think the game industry is doing a fairly good job considering sony, microsoft etc don't have the degree of military funding for their technological developments that Apple do. current gen bluetooth is hard to fault.

You actually don't believe this, right?

I think ditching the 1/8" jack is kinda lame, but it's certainly not the end of the world.

What I do think is shitty is Apple's tendency to abandon formats on which small companies have spent considerable R&D, and consumers/professionals have invested with the hopes of some longevity. See: Apogee and the move from Firewire to Thunderbolt, and now Thunderbolt to USB-C. Infuriating.

USB-C is a good thing though. it should be accepted by the majority of manufacturers for once so we're hopefully on the verge of more universal peripherals.
i'm pretty keen at the prospect of being able to use the same port on a laptop to charge, transfer data, use an audio interface, plug in an external monitor, whether its windows or mac.

We have In'n'out. They only have one fry size.

I know nothing about White Castle beyond the movie.

Yea I do.

For instance I have used wireless gaming controller for years now and I have notice zero difference. If there was a that big a difference your remote control to your tv would have wired set up. Wouldn't that be grand? Wired tv remotes! :erm:

My LTE internet works better than most internet services I've tried, wired or otherwise. So there's that as well.

Again, I don't see the evidence. You can claim latency or quality suffering, but I doubt it's the big of a difference for the average consumer to even be phased by.

It's like cds vs records. Most people cannot tell the difference with their ears. They can't, yet so many claim they have golden ears and one is better than the other no matter what data there actually is available to prove otherwise. Here's one such article out of many others http://www.popsci.com/entertainment-gam ... lly-better

My point is, be that dinosaur. It's cool. I'll keep moving with technology. I like it and embrace the change. Do I like the price of buying new everything? No, but I'm excited by the future.

I just know I'll break the adapter or lose my wireless headphones all the time. I'm sure more organized people will be okay tho

Oh, so, that's why White Castle was never as popular as BK or McD's. :snax: :whoa:

White Castle is popular for its burgers, not fries. Have you ever known anyone to say "I'm craving White Castle" with the fries in mind?
