My point exactly. In international public law, the difference between these two situation lies in the principle of sovereignty. When a country helps an ally that asked for said help, sovereignty is respected. When a country invades and occupies another, however generous and poetic the motivation, sovereignty is breached.UglyCasanova wrote:![]()
Yeah, I'm not overly political either. I just think helping a country in need (like the US did for my country) is different from invading a country, like the US have been guilty of for decades now. I'll just leave it at that.

Yes, I know, and I'm aware of it. Not that I'm perfect in a sense of total self-awareness.
