I'm just about to finish reading The Control of Candy Jones. She was a famous model that said she was a victim of the MKUltra mind-control program. Her husband/radio host, John Nebel awoke a split personality in her through hypnotic regression. It's interesting as a case study of psychological manipulation, but I wouldn't necessarily call it convincing. It's unclear whether the manipulator was the CIA, Nebel, or Candy herself.

The CIA used to kidnap people in San Francisco after spiking their drinks at bars with LSD and stick them in a room and do shit to them. At least one jumped out of window that was like 5 stories up and died. Ted Kaczynski was in some MK Ultra experiment at Harvard. His manifesto is pretty amazing to read tbh.

That's a fucked up case. It's funny because it's frequently cited as propaganda to deter children from LSD use by anti-drug programs like D.A.R.E. Except they conveniently leave out the part where he was a CIA employee dosed unknowingly by his superiors, and his "suicide" nine days later was incredibly suspicious.
