Oh, I do like them! They just come up on ILF a lot. IV is an awesome album. Gorgeous melodies for a "real screamo" band (as opposed to, say, Orchid, who aren't very melodic at all). It's just that a lot of bands that are as good or better get hated on on ILF as regularly as LP gets praised and that sort of irks me.

Like if I started a thread for Alexisonfire I think we all know how'd that'd go, yes? But I think the first three AOF records are better than anything Lomo Prieta has done. Which is saying something because I would agree LP is awesome.

If we ever stop fighting and try to see where each other are coming from (we're getting better at it), I think that's a big difference between me and D.o.S. For me, melody > all other elements of music. Whereas D.o.S. said "Melody isn't something I'm often looking for in music" or something to that effect.
