Haha, I'm kinda at this point with hotrods and stuff: What I get is What I get! DIY is DIY. My style is my style. Someday. I have this thread til then!
Stage one of my automotive plan is complete, I bought myself a cheap new daily driver today. Nothing exciting, an '03 Ford Ranger.
Next step of my plan is to sell my Acura, but I want to give it a thorough wash, wax and interior detail before I list it. Maybe fix the broken passenger side power lock and definitely change the oil too.
Here's my new truck:

Good plan, Colin.
Didn't know whether to put this here or in the soundtracks thread. So, it goes in both.

So I had some fun today:
Meanwhile operation colin buys a fun car is slowly motoring along, my Acura has yet to sell but I've got a few people interested in it right now. I came across a 70's Mini in fantastic shape for sale on the side of the road last week and fell madly in love with it, but sadly it hasn't been there the last two days so I think it's already sold. Oh well, there'll be other cool cars to buy when I have the money.

Holy shit I would buy that in a heartbeat.
That is literally perfect for my family.

I don't even have a family, but I'd still kinda like a van like that.
… or like this:

My grandpa had a van like that. It had removable tables and an icebox inside (base color was white though). Got stolen...probably for the best: no seatbelts and a ton of sharp corners to slide and hit on the cabinets.
Still on the rotary thing:

Might be able to talk my dad out of one of these (seriously considering it):

I know I've posted this before in a previous thread, but now that we have an actual car thread:
Now that I've got a wife and kid, my sports car days are over until I'm old, but I'll always love my '94 Mazda RX-7 R2. That sequential twin turbo system was soooooo fucking awesome. This car kicked so much ass, fuck 1/4-mile times, the handling on this thing was amazing. I could take corners going ridiculous speeds and it would just squat down and turn in.

I'd love an FD RX-7. Prices for nice left hand drive ones are still way too high for me. There's lots of JDM right hand drive ones around here for relatively cheap though.
