My BEZ got unreliable. Chankgz, if you are handy at diy, I'll send it to you for little money or a cheapo trade.

I went to edit my post and was half paying attention an I deleted it...I'm getting crazy.
This.
Moog Phaser is the flagship for CV manipulation, with a legacy of great sounds in all things carrying the product name.
SolidGoldFX Apollo is an option I have long wanted to try :snax:

But the Effectrode PM-2C is ze grail that keeps me from spending money on other high end phasers. I mean, it's the one that caused me to sell you the SS. If you can score one for <500 then go for it. Totally worth it.
90 seconds, fuck that's nuts. How can you even perceive the motion of the shifter?
i think the trick is you don't really. But you just notice it always sounds different for some reason :)

THIS.

They all seemed to have some kind of weird issues. I had one as well and it did some off the wall shit. I definitely wouldn't rely on this pedal although it's cool as shit when it works. :) I loved mine.

Yeah, space6oy posted the photo above of the one I'm trying to sell.

(Thanks for the offer, phanta.)

As much as I like it, I wanna phaser with an LFO. If that phaser also has expression control of the sweep, that'd be nice, but I'd like something that sweeps on its own.

how slow is slow?
the pi-phase is set to nicely-slow-movement but i believe that you can adjust a trimpot to go slower (probably affecting the top range)
if you are able to do that on phaser A, then you could probably leave phaser B as is, and have 2 different speed ranges.
(the top speed is very fast)
also is a very nice lush 6-stage sound, the lushest phaser sound i've tried.

the maxon 350 can go slowish too, about 16secs i believe. thats maybe not quite slowly enough for textures. its nice for movement.
but 6 and 10 stages and neg/pos feedback all the way to self osc
(i hate self osc in pedals :P)

i think that the subdecay dlx goes very slow, i doubt it's anywhere near the 90sec mark though.
and maybe it switches to 6 or 8 stages?
(all i have to do is an internet search but i'm just too lazy and evil)
being quite unfashionable you might be able to find one at a decent price ... i mean that subdecay is unfashionable, not you of course :)
and the subdecay phasers are vactrol and supersmooth/sharp sounding

90secs is too much anyway. i thought about lengthening the sweep on my pi-phase, but decided it was perfect where is was.

 I just went to SubDecay's website and it's down.

I haven't tried a Quasar DLX only a Baby Quasar. It didn't get along well with my dirt. I didn't expect that from a VCA phaser. So, unless it has much higher headroom, not sure I'd get on with the DLX.

I'd like a phaser at least as slow as the Whetstone. That slow. I'd be willing to sacrifice some slowness for an overall great sounding phaser though. I'm generally not concerned with higher speeds. Most phasers seem to go faster than I'd usually use 'em at anyway.

Yea they got hacked and blocked by google around the same time they announced some preview pcb thing earlier in the week (maybe last week). It happened to my webserver once (which was surprising because it had under 2 hits a month, and those were probably me).

Gigahearts Doppelganger clone can do 16 seconds cycle time stock, but five minutes and change with the a 1.5 meg resistor across tip and sleeve of a mono plug plugged into the expression jack.

Mmmmmmmmmm :thumb:. Love big box Maxon stuff.
I've also owned the PH-350 and I dug it.

I dunno, I tried it in the store but I thought it was a bit nasal, thin and clinical sounding, not thick or juicy, like most phasers I don't like it boosts the high mids and loses the low mids.

I think I'm looking for a slow deep and jucy phaser too.
Let's work on that.

So far I tried:

-Whetstone
-Faye Sing
-Sister Tiger
-Street Sweeper

Would the VFE Enterprise v2 be in that category?

The mu-tron phaser II should be on your radar, I'm pretty sure it's half the bi-phase and is one of my favorite for slow speeds. The prophecysound Infinitephase is another thickness juicy based on the bi-phase plus it has the step sequencer :joy: and it goes sloooooow.
The maestro stage phaser sounds superb too at slow speeds, very organic sounding.
Also the pearl ph-44 which I've been getting to know sounds oh so nice, very great really. These last two let you ramp between two speeds for cool effect.
