Today's lunch:
fried filet of Zander with caramellized onion, carrot and ginger, tomato salad and chick peas.
Too bad I am out of Cilantro, otherwise I might have put some on the chick peas.

Ummm, does raisin bran with lo-fat milk sound yummy? I should not have read this thread while eating it for my breakfast. Must come up with something much better for lunch!

One of my favorite quick ones to make. My wife and I usually add mushrooms, green onions and thai chili paste for heat at the end.

Found out this morning that pickled red onions go great on fried eggs
I have 9 cups of very herby home made vegetable broth in the freezer that I'd like to use. Any thoughts?

http://recipes.sparkpeople.com/recipe-d ... ipe=809353 -- I like this with sandwiches and shit. Good chicken noodle soup alternative. Vegan if that's your thing. It's not mine but I like it.
http://www.budgetbytes.com/2013/09/tomato-herb-soup/ -- My favorite soup right now. I make a batch and have some grilled cheese with it. Then the next morning I'll reheat some and eat it with eggs.

I'd use a herby broth for risotto, but really; anywhere you'd use water you can use broth.
I haven't ate yet, but now I want soba noodles and poached eggs with stirfried veggies.

Get yourself to a dominican joint.

Risotto would be a solid idea for the herby broth!
I tried marinating a steak in Anisado del Mono today. What can I say? It was excellent!

Yum indeed. What do you plan on using to season the chicken?

You know, sometimes I make good food, like the rare time I decide to whip out my old pizzaboy skills. But sometime, sometimes the food is what makes me, almost burning my kitchen in the process.
That was today's wine-marinated chicken. I have no clue what happened, and at this point I am too afraid to look.

^^^ hahaha
I found some ground beef in my freezer so I made Shipwreck, and Hasselback potatoes. The potatoes are a success, I could have cut them thinner, but I forgot peas and corn in the beef, so it's just taco meat. dang
