So let's think on this post count thing.

What do you guys want to do? I mean we've had things go sour regardless of post counts before on ILF. Soooooooooooo I'll leave it up to you folks. Open forum. OPEN FORUM. Let's get this out of the way. Are we going to be stickler, or let some pass by.

I mean in the past, we've said, sorry about your luck.

I know a few of these dudes are good dudes, but rules...discuss please.

I guess 500 post count is to be maintained as the rule but exceptions can be made for good dudes with good BST ratings or well established members of the ILF vouching for them and stuff like that.

I've been part of secret santas on other forums and ended up not getting anything in return, which is shitty. So I do understand the 500 post rule, and I'm not going to make a fuzz ( ) if I can't participate. You guys figure it out

Point of the 500 posts rule for me is to avoid having to trust strangers your really have no reason to trust. But it's not like you're a stranger anymore, right?

re rules: personally i think 500 posts is a bit on the high side, but then again i never got shafted the two previous times i participated, so 500 with granted exceptions seems like an ok way to do it.

I read more than I post, but I've made a good handful of bst sales/purchases, so totally understand either way, haha.

So I'd like to bring this up as well.

I'd like to change a rule to you HAVE TO SEND A PEDAL. Everyone can pull that off even if it's 50 bucks. Lots of options. That way, no one gets shafted. I mean this is Ilovefuzz after all. I think everyone here will be expecting something pedal related. Please let me know if you think that's out of line and then explain why. I think it's only fair. Obviously not every can afford a neat custom pedal made by a killer builder on the forum, but everyone can afford a used Boss pedal or some type of clearance pedal. Just be creative. Pedals don't always have to break the bank.

As far as the snax and other items. It's always fun, so I think we ought to do that again. But you if you can't swing it, no biggie.

We did that as a precaution but honestly I don't think the post count thing matter as we've seen in the past from various former member here. Honest people are honest. So let's just have a good one this year!!!

I think that you need to have had some transactions at least with members on the site or have contributed in some way. Even that is not fool proof.

Yeah I saw one or two last year that didn't, and while the recipient was gracious, Im sure they were a little disappointed after seeing everyone unbox their goodies. And I think the person that sent it was embarrassed and didnt realize it was sort of expected.

So making it a solid rule would avoid any confusion.
