I agree with everyone who has said some sort of progress bar/occasional reminder to donate would be cool. I like this place too much not to help out!

Thank you all for the support, brainstorms, and donations! Seriously, thank you all SO much. The donations have paid for this and next month's server costs, which is amazing!!!



Beyond host/server costs, it's hard to quantify time-costs...I'm happy to donate the countless working on the forum (I'd seriously do it for free if money wasn't a concern), but it does take time away from FuzzHugger work that I / my family really relies on. And I'd like to spend more time and money on improving ILF (routing out bugs, fixing code, new features like optional Facebook integration). So donations help toward that, especially going forward without Adsense.

Despite the loss, on the bright side, no one's looking over our shoulders.

Hey Tom, maybe we should ask Pornhub to kick in and sponsor us in exchange for advertising on our site. I'm sure our "sexually explicit content" wouldn't offend them.

You should consider moving the donations-thingy up to the top of the site so it's more visible. Maybe people would remember it better and donate more often. Anyway, glad to hear that it helped!
