I've had it about 10 years. It's just horrible. It smells like damp clothes and drains. I opened it up a few months back to resolder a pot, and there was MOLD growing in there.
I had to sand down the pickguard to get the paint to stick, but other than that they're pretty resistant with the exception of pick wear.
