Awesome Fibes kit!
I had a chance to play on a Fibes kit very much like that, but 22,13,16" sizes. Very nice sounding drums for sure. How do you like your 20" Masters dark crash?

Thanks! The Masters crash is really different sounding than the rev al ride but it goes with it in a weird, good way. It's really thrash, dark, and loud and gets out of the way fast, nice accent crash.

those are so badass, I knda miss them too, but Ryders current setup is also pretty awesome sounding. Looking forward to the ludwigs as if he thinks it's an improvement, lets just say I have faith in his judgement.

My new Ludwig will look a lot like these. Except, I won't have a 18" floor tom, for now.... And this kit has the long "Mach" lugs. My lugs are the full size classic lugs. I am sure most people have know idea what I am going on about, but oh well. I might, just might order a 18" floor tom like this kit has. It's just been forever since I have played a 2 floor tom kit. I am not sure I can still turn that far around. I am no spring chicken.

My first kit was a Ludwig Rocker when I was in middle school so I've always had a thing for them... especially when I see them in the black oyster shell finish.

Ive never been a fan of the full length lugs on any drum kit, they seem very gaudy and never look right.
Here's my kit. A 69 Ludwig super classic.

At first I was thinking "Why the fuck is his rack tom set up on the the side of the bass drum?" and then I realized you are left handed. I dig that kit.

I'm a freak for life; never ceasing to annoy sound guys.
Thanks! It's the only piece of gear I own that I'll keep til I die.

Sharp looking kit! Very classic. Love the finish too. I would tend to agree as far as full length lugs go, however, I really like the distinctive look that Tama got with their old school Artstar and Granstar line. I have both and dig em.
